Last Will and Testament

Charlie goes to Patrick, and Mikes parents on the weekends (not overnight though, we know how that ends...)
Our house goes to the college kids - since they think its theirs while we are away anyway :)
The audi goes to C&Bs kid when she comes - she will need a sweet ride when shes older, if it still runs...
Christian can have the motorcycle... I mean... what motorcycle...
Tracy can have the nissan... she needs a new ride before Dad has an anuerism..
Everyone else can have whatever they want... except guitars. mike wants to be buried with them.

Tomorrow Mike and I are going canyoning.... and since we are aware of the risks of diving into the crevaces of the alps... we decided this list may help the grieving process..

Just kidding... but we are having a blast. We went to Grindelwald today. Its a small town someways up a mountain. And we enjoyed lunch at Onkel Toms Hutte... you know... Apparently Harriet Beecher Stowe enjoyed Switzerland in her later years...

Mike also found a sweet dune buggy today that he is desperate to rent... he thinks the scooter threatens his masculinity... or my life if I have to hang onto the back while holding the video camera and giving directions...

Bonus: we tried to get info at the train station today and the guy at the desk was ignoring us... so mike walked around to the back of the window and he was looking at porn... we thought about catching him on video and turning him in but we werent quick enough... it was pretty funny though.

Trivia: What James Bond movie was filmed on the swiss alps on Jungfrou? hint - rotating restaurant anyone?

Wow... 5 chf gets us alot of time to blog...

Sidebar: Switzerland is so fricking expensive. The first person to deposit 1000 swiss francs into our paypal account will earn themselves the right to pick us up at the airport! haha, but seriously... whos up for taking us to my mommas house on Wednesday afternoon?

Anyone need any toblerone or swiss army gear? sweet....

well, we love you all and miss you like fat kids miss real coke.
see zou all so soon, we hope!
love, c & m

Well after a 6 hour train ride next to smellz italians (this is mike...notice the misuse of the y and z) , extended ipod use, and no sleep, we have arrived in Interlaken. We are stazing at the Happz Inn...check out how cornez this place is if zou are reallz bored.

Cinque terra was absolutelz amaying, and we left it begrudginglz. We celebrated with a great dinner with great local wine, and carrie with 2 tiramisus and a few gelatis. Our time there was quite memorable. We have lots of fun pictures and some cool video including us attempting to climb up to a church athat was at the top of a mountain...too fricken high if zou ask me. we onlz made it half wat...then on our waz down we saz this itlaiian guz and his wife climbing up it. he was 65. suck.
Well we again are getting molested on internet costs, so we gotta get going. The best to all and keep commenting. we get a kick out of zou.
Love,
C and M

We are never coming home...

Cinque Terre is pretty much the most amazing place in the world! The 5 small fishing villages are all so beautiful. We have been swimming in the salty mediteranean sea, hiking the trails, shopping, and eating amazing italian food! (tiramisu and gelati are a daily delight!)

We leave for Switzerland tomorrow although I would be happy to never leave this beautiful place. Our hotel is right on the water and we walk out to swim each day. Life is hard! :)

we miss you... update you again when its not 15 cents a minute! (and thats euros... this 5 minute blog costs us $30!... haha)

love, carrie and mike.

Only a few more hours in Munich...

Well, we had a fabulous time here in Munich. We took a Mike´s bikes tour yesterday. It was pretty much amazing! Thanks C & B for recommending it! We rode around the town of Munich and into the english garden. Its this beautiful park a lot like Central park in NY except twice as big! At one part there is a river that goes through called the Isir River and as a way of regulating the river, they stop it with dam-like things ( i know - i paid real good attention during the tour) but in the end, it creates these rapids that surfers play on. So we jumped in in our clothes. It was so much fun! We were swept downstream and climbed out about 100 feet later... then we did it again! Being the genius that I am, I jumped in with my sunglasses on my head :( Then we ate at a beer garden where they serve beer in 1 liter glasses! yikes! I tried a Radler - half beer and half lemonade. Sounds nasty but was pretty good! I just got a small glass though!

We ate amazing Bavarian food last night. I got something called the jagershnitzel and I dont know what it was but it was so good! I think the food is my favorite part...And we crashed pretty early.

Today, we experienced the City Laundry and have clean clothes again (YAY!) and then hit the park all day. I may actually get a tan! wow! Oh - and there is a thing in Bavaria called Free Body Culture. That means there are designated places where nudists can hang out. We walked by today and couldnt help laughing at all the 85 year old naked men.... not fun!

Miss you all! We have to go catch a train and are on to Italy! We will arrive in Milano in the morning and then get trains to Cinque Terra on the northern coast - where apparently foccacia was invented! yum!

casey - so sad I missed g! If I had known, I would have flown home!

Heather and friends - I´m glad to know the house isn´t getting lonely! enjoy :)

Love and miss you all!
-carrie (mike is sadly enjoying his last german beer!)

Munich... Carries version

Hi!

I will try to use my ys and zs correctly.... Well, Mike already shared most things I just had to add that I ate the most amazing thing today! I got this apple struedel that was really 4 donuts with apples baked in. It was then perfectly accompanied by whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. It was pretty much fabulous. I plan on eating nothing but that for the rest of Munich. Mom, just look for the 500 pound girl when you pick us up at the airport...

Miss everyone!
Love, carrie

Arrived in Munich!

So we left Prague earlz this morning (sidebar...on the german kezboard, the y is where the z should be...so I wont even, make the effort to tzpe correclz), loaded all our crap on the train and about 5 min before departue, we realiyed that we were on a train for Neuremburg...Crap! so we ran off the train and boarded the right train, which was actuallz attached to the train we were on. we were just on the wrong car.
Got to Munich at about 230 or 3, found our hostel...the Euro Zouth Hostel...thanks for the reference C...this place in prettz rad. There is an internet cafe here, so I can drink a wonderful German wheat beer while I write this. Soon to follow will be finishing said beer while reading Tender is the Night...Without a doubt, a great american masterpiece bz F. Scott Fitygerald - zou were right hohorst. A nice relaxing night.
Tomorrow I think we are taking a mikes bike tour...again, thanks Christian. Carrie is excited to see the nude park that we ride bz. She will be sure to get some good video. No other definate plans, but Im sure after her nap, Carrie will want to amend this blog, or write her own.
Best to all from Munchen.
Mike and Carrie (who is reallz napping now)
