Hey everyone...
so Frankfurt is pretty rad except for all the sex shops. kind of weird. The flight over was exceptional! If you ever get the opportunity, fly envoy class, but if you are ever offered, don't eat crab from an airline...I had the unique experience of encountering the airplane toilet face to face. Remember...crab=bad. Well, it is 530 am home time and carrie hasnt adjusted, and she is being absolutely ridiculous. She is trying to say all this german. it doesnt suit her. Stay well.

Now for a message from carrie:
Das ist under wasser!!!!!
I`ll give you a euro if you guess what that says! (there is no colon so pretend i added a smiley face at the end!)

Guten Tag!

    Hey Nephew and Niece.
Nice. CrabBarfing en route...in the bloody Envoy Class no less? Sex shoppes, your first commentary after arrival in Deutschland? (Ah, my wayward nephew, this is diagnostic and troublesome!)

Carrie: Was ist unter Wasser mein schoniges und wunderbar Fraulein? Der yellow submarine? Two can play that game! Ich auch Deutsch gesprachen...aber nur ein bisschen und sehr, sehr schlecht. And hey, while in the FatherLand, watch out for them there Wienerschnitzels and Hofbrau Hauses.

Glad you both arrived safe and sound. Be well. Be safe. Be all that you can be! ;>)

My only advice to you both while in Deutschland...Find the birth place of David Hasselhoff. Carrie, if you want to impress the Germans, just ask someone where you can by a Hasselhoff CD...they'll love you forever.

    Your Belgian Friend,
    -Maarten

ps. I hold great bitterness toward you both for not visiting the beautiful country of Belgium. Long Live Jeane Claude Van Damme!

  4. Yo Curry duo-
Sorry I never returned your call before you left. For a wonderful Prague experience I'd say go to the castle and do a boat tour (kinda cheesey but it's beautiful). Go see the astronomical clock in old square, there are cool markets around there too, and the charles bridge. I also loved the museum of decorative arts - they have a really cool design history, and played a cool part in the modernist movement. Also my favorite store is called Qubus which is a little store with really cool stuff made from young czech designers. Also eat hot dogs, they're known for them...and drink some pilsner (cheaper than water). The Jewish cemetary is really cool too, and there was this really cool gallery we went to with an AMAZING modern photography exhibit...I don't remember what it's called but you'll see posters for it everywhere in the subway. It was my favorite spot in Prague. That's a lot but take your pick. It's BEAUTIFUUUUL. Miss you guys!
